Dr. “Ram” Raghavan Ramanan a Cofounder and Chief Scientific Officer
at ImpactX Inc., is a Fulbright Leadership Scholar, a globally recognized
expert in Sustainability, ESG and CSR through experience garnered over four
decades in corporate (ExxonMobil), consulting (AECOM, ICF and Trinity), and
academic environments (Illinois Institute of Technology, Desert Research
Institute and Indian Institute of Technology). He is a Professional Engineer in
Texas, UK, and India.
Dr. Ramanan also serves as a Board Member and the Chair of the Education
Council of Air & Waste Management Association International (Founded
1907), as well as, the Chairman of the Sustainability Council and the Global
Co-convenor of Chapters at the WHEELS Global Foundation, the social
impact arm of PANIIT.
Dr. Ramanan has presented and published scientific and management papers
worldwide. His book, “Introduction to Sustainability Analytics”, CRC Press
2018, one of the first on the subject, provides leaders insight into the value of
stakeholder primacy and the process of identifying sustainability metrics that
are material and relevant to their establishment. His prior book (co-authored),
“Environmental Ethics and Sustainability”, CRC Press 2013 promotes ethics
as the 4th bottom line of sustainability.
